Therapeutic school placement requires a knowledge of the culture and atmosphere of the school as well as an understanding of the student’s behaviors and or diagnoses.
Therapeutic schools help students who may exhibit or may have exhibited one or more of the following behaviors, characteristics, or diagnoses:
- ADD/ADHD
- Low self-esteem
- Low motivation
- Change of peer group
- Family Conflict
- Entitlement
- Anger Problems
- Impulsivity
- Disrespect
- Lying
